What do video books cost?
When trying to figure out the cost of a Video Book product you will need to consider the following items and we will work with you to answer all the below questions via email or on a phone call whichever is easier for you. These are some starting points for you to take note on when putting together your project. We have a minimum qty of 5 units for most of our products and the price is based on the below items.
WHAT SIZE VIDEO BOOK DO YOU NEED?
We have some standard Video Book sizes that a lot of customers like to make their own. The most popular size Video Book would be the 5.5″ x 8.5 (A5) or 9″ x12 ” (Portrait or Landscape ) with a high end Hard Cover to give it that coffee table style look and feel. All our Video Book products are one of those premium crafted books that people want to keep and share with everyone.

WHAT LCD SCREEN SIZE WOULD YOU LIKE?
We can make Video Books with the full spectrum of screen sizes: 2.4″, 2.8″, 4.3″, 5″, 7″, 10″. The bigger the screen, the higher the cost. Most popular sizes are 4.3″ , 5″ , 7″ and have amazing price points for all our products.
WHAT SORT OF PRINT /PRODUCT FINISHING DO YOU NEED?
Many of the Video Books we produce are printed CMYK with a matte or non scuff lamination. We add multiple different finishes together like Foil Stamping and Spot UV together all the time, get creative and standout from your competitors. Here is a short list of specialist material and finish we use all the time with all our products:

Can we place our product inside the video box?
Yes. Send the product size, weight and photos, and we can design a cardboard or foam fitment so the product sits securely beside the LCD screen.
Which screen sizes are available for video boxes?
Common options include 2.4, 4.3, 5, 7 and 10 inch LCD screens. The best choice depends on the box size, viewing distance, video length and budget.
Can the video play automatically when opened?
Yes. A magnetic switch or light sensor can trigger auto-play when the box is opened, creating a stronger unboxing experience.
What affects the price and production time?
Price usually ranges from about USD 8 to USD 40 per piece depending on screen size, memory, structure, finish, insert and quantity. After design confirmation, production is usually about 10-12 days.
