How to Order Your Video Brochure
Everything you need to know — from choosing specs to receiving your finished product. Follow these 9 simple steps.
Determine Quantity
Our minimum order quantity (MOQ) for custom video brochures starts at 30 units. The more you order, the better the per-unit price.
Need fewer than 30? Contact us — we can discuss special arrangements. We also offer blank video brochures (5" and 7") for smaller needs.
Choose Screen Size
Select the screen that fits your content and budget. All screens come in IPS (better color/angles) or TN (more affordable) versions.
IPS vs TN: IPS screens offer wider viewing angles and richer colors — great for premium presentations. TN screens are budget-friendly and work perfectly for standard playback.
Select Memory Capacity
Memory determines how much video content your brochure can hold. The default is 256 MB, scalable up to 16 GB.
How to decide? Most marketing videos (1-5 min) fit easily in 256 MB. We recommend exporting at 3-5 Mbps bitrate for the best balance of quality and file size.
Choose Buttons and Navigation
Our video brochures come with up to 5 buttons included by default. You decide how many you need and what function each one serves. Additional buttons beyond 5 cost approximately $0.08 USD each (up to 12 buttons total).
Button design is fully customizable — colors, labels, and position (side, bottom, or top) can all match your branding.
Best for single short videos under 1 minute. Playback is controlled simply by opening and closing the brochure. No volume control — audio level must be set in the video file itself.
Includes Pause, Volume Up, and Volume Down. Ideal for brochures with a single video where viewers need to control audio. Simple and clean.
The complete control package. Pause, Volume Up/Down, Next, and Previous. Features our dual-function buttons: press Next/Previous once to skip between files, or press and hold to Fast Forward/Rewind within a video. Includes an on-screen progress bar.
Each button is linked to a specific video — for example, "About Us," "Our Products," "Testimonials." Press a button to play its video; press again to pause. Great for brochures with multiple distinct content sections.
Brochures can also display JPG image slideshows alongside videos (must be requested). Images play in alphabetical order, either auto-advancing or manually controlled. Perfect for product catalogs, restaurant menus, PDF page flips, or photo portfolios.
For the most interactive experience, touchscreen navigation allows viewers to tap on-screen buttons, select videos from a menu, and control playback directly on the display. Available on larger screens (7" and 10").
Not sure which option? Most clients choose the Full Navigation (5 buttons) — it covers all use cases. If your brochure has distinct sections, consider assigning buttons to specific videos. We will help you decide based on your content.
Select Card Size
Choose the physical dimensions based on your screen. Standard sizes or fully custom — you decide.
Custom sizes welcome! Any shape, size, or fold is possible. We will send a die-cut template for your designer once specs are finalized.
Choose Cover Material
The cover is the first thing your audience touches. Choose the material, finish, and special techniques that best represent your brand.
You can combine multiple techniques — for example, matte lamination + spot UV + foil stamping for a truly premium finish. Spot UV cannot be applied on gloss lamination. Leather and fabric covers work great with foil stamping and embossing.
Special Printing Techniques OPTIONAL
Make your brochure unforgettable with premium print finishes. These are optional upgrades.

Prepare Your Video
We pre-load your video before shipping. You can also update content yourself anytime via the included USB cable.
Multiple videos? Brochures play files in alphanumerical order (01.mp4, 02.mp4...). Video upload is included free if provided within 1 week of production start.
Phone videos: iPhone/Android footage is usually 1080p or 4K — too high for video brochures. Always convert to the screen native resolution first.

Once you finalize your specs, here is how the process works:
Total lead time: Air = 3-4 weeks. Sea = 6-7 weeks from order to delivery.

Helpful answers before you choose a size, sample or production route.
Can I make a sample before bulk production?
Yes. A sample helps confirm print color, screen position, button layout, video playback and packing before the full order starts.
What information is needed before quoting?
Please share quantity, screen size, brochure or box size, video length, artwork status, delivery country and target date. We can then recommend the right structure and quote both sample and bulk production.
Can M&M Tech preload and test our video?
Yes. We can preload your final video file, test playback, check charging and pack the units ready for delivery.
How long does production and shipping take?
After design confirmation, production usually takes about 10-12 days. Shipping is usually about 7-10 days by air freight or about 30-35 days by sea freight.
